Andy & Elmer Literacy Project

 
RCBS adopted the Andy & Elmer's Apple Dumpling Adventure which illustrates the use of Rotary's Four-Way Test to 6 - 10-year-old children using video, story books and activity and colouring books.
 
Rotary's Four-Way Test
Of the things we think, say and do:
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and better FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Is it BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
 
Members of the club visit with schools and conduct well received interactive reading sessions with the students. Copies of the books are gifted to the students and teachers for future reference and reinforcement of the lessons learned at the end of each session.
