 👩🏾‍🌾  300 Trees Planted 🌳
Coastal Sustainability Tree Planting Success

Last Saturday, our coastal sustainability tree planting project on the East Coast of Barbados was a resounding success! We're thrilled to announce that we planted a total of 300 trees, a significant stride towards a greener and healthier environment.

A huge shoutout to Dir. Jacklyn Broome and her dedicated team from Mount Gay Distilleries Ltd for not only sponsoring this impactful project but also actively participating in the tree planting alongside our members. Your support has been instrumental in making this initiative a reality.

Special thanks are also due to Mr. Jones of the National Botanical Gardens, who spearheaded this project on our behalf. The collaboration with the National Soil Conservation Unit, from where the trees were sourced and delivered, played a crucial role in the project's success.

Our Rotary team showed up with both heart and hands engaged, and we extend a sincere thank you for your commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

To those who, in spirit, were with us despite not being able to make it in person, your support is deeply appreciated. Stay tuned for part two of our coastal sustainability project as we continue to work towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future.

Thank you all for your dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a positive impact in our community!
